Noida: There is a new kind of scam going on in the market, where you receive a call and then from the other side Police informs you about the crime committed by your son, You have no other option but to acknowledge them and then to face the results, which are even more horrific and not to do anything with ground reality. National Crime Investigation Bureau has come to tell you to be relaxed and not to worry.

Hello, is this Aslam,
Rahmatullah is your son, right?
I am Head Constable XYZ from ABC police station. We have arrested your son in a “rape case”. Your son seemed to be from a good family, that is why I called you. We are sending him to jail. So, if possible, come to the police station within 5 minutes or talk to SHO sahab.
Then, after talking to the SHO, you will be asked for lakhs of rupees to get the child out of the case. If you show reluctance or ask for some time to arrange the money, the police officer will threaten you and say, “The girl who was raped is dead. Now your son will go to jail for a long time. If you want, you can talk to your son.” After that, your son’s crying voice will come to your ears saying, “Abbu/Papa, I have made a big mistake. Please save me. I will never make such a mistake again.” After this, a barcode/account number will be sent to transfer the money.
Be careful, this is a fraud call.
NCIBHQ requests you not to be afraid or panicked on receiving such calls. Also, do not transfer any money to anyone. First of all, control yourself and call your child. If his phone is not reachable for some reason, wait for some time. Call his friends/acquaintances. Also, in case of any kind of cyber fraud, complain on 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.
(Note: According to the information received, yesterday due to a similar call, the child’s mother fell down the stairs in panic. Due to which she died tragically.)

One person informs, “My husband received such a call when he was driving on a highway. And our son who is just 8 years old, was sleeping next to me in another city !!!! He asked the so-called SHO that how can an 8 year old rape someone? Immediately the call got disconnected and many times my husband called that number and kept asking the same questions, it was humour for him, but it is life-threatening for many.”
