
Greater Noida West : Witnessed a deeply spiritual and vibrant celebration on April 14 as Khalsa Sajna Divas was observed with great devotion at Gurudwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha. The occasion commemorates the historic day in 1699 when Guru Gobind Singh founded the Khalsa Panth at Anandpur Sahib, laying the foundation of courage, equality and faith in Sikhism.
The celebrations began early in the morning with the recitation of Asa Di Vaar from 7 am to 9 am by Bhai Naunihal Singh from Anandpur Sahib. This was followed by a spiritual discourse from 9 am to 10 am by Giani Sandeep Singh, who explained the significance of Baisakhi and the creation of the Khalsa in an insightful manner.

The morning kirtan samagam concluded at 11 am with Ardaas, followed by the distribution of Prasad. Devotees then gathered for Guru ka Atut Langar, where residents from Gaur City, Crossing Republik and Noida West, along with people from different communities, sat together and shared the sacred meal, symbolising unity and selfless service.
In the evening, the special Baisakhi Diwan commenced at 6:30 pm with the recitation of Rehras Sahib. The atmosphere turned divine as Bhai Amarjeet Singh of the Hazuri Raagi Jatha performed kirtan from 7 pm to 8 pm, captivating the sangat with soulful hymns. From 8 pm to 9 pm, Bhai Naunihal Singh presented Gurbani kirtan, further enriching the spiritual ambience.
The highlight of the evening was the devotional performance by Bhai Baldev Singh and his Dhadi Jatha from 9 pm to 10 pm, who narrated the story and significance of Baisakhi through musical storytelling, leaving the audience deeply inspired.
The Head Granthi, Savinder Singh, concluded the samagam by explaining the importance of Khalsa Sajna Divas and encouraging devotees to follow the path of righteousness, courage and service.
The event concluded at 10 pm with Ardaas and the distribution of Kada Prasad. Guru ka Atut Langar was also served in the evening, where devotees from various communities came together in the spirit of equality and devotion.
The entire samagam was conducted under the leadership of Surinder Singh, President, and Sardar Jaspal Singh, Secretary of the Gurdwara Management Committee. Vice President Narendra Jeet Singh Babbar and former President and current member R S Uppal extended their full support in making the event a grand success.
