Noida: The troubles of Jaypee flat buyers located in Noida Sector 134 are not coming to an end. The problem of the residents of JP Cosmos increased when Suraksha Reality Limited decided to withdraw from the responsibility of maintenance. However, the Jaypee Cosmos Apartment Owners Association (AoA) has protested against this. On December 31, a large number of people of the society including the members of the AOA reached the office of Suraksha Reality and protested.
After the protest, the next meeting on this has been called on 6 January 2025. This meeting is to be held in the office of the Noida Authority. Dharmendra Kumar Chaudhary, President of JP Cosmos AOA and its member Kavita said that at present more than 4 thousand families live in JP Cosmos. In such a situation, Jaypee Infratech was taken over by Suraksha Ltd. Earlier, the maintenance work of this society was with JEL (JP Associates Limited), which is known as FMG. They have issued an order to take over from January 1, 2025.
Dharmendra Chaudhary further said that they have given only 15 days for maintenance handover, which is a very short time. Whereas, in such cases, about 5-6 months time is given. In such cases, it is very important to know a lot of things, such as structural audits, audits of society’s lifts, assets audits, financial due diligence audi. There are many such things. They will be in a position to take over from Suraksha Ltd. only after doing all the documentation.
However, when there was no agreement from Suraksha Ltd. and they remained adamant that the handover would have to be taken by the AOA of the society from January 1 itself, the Noida Authority was informed about this.
Another problem is that no club has been built in the society, out of 47, 14 towers are still under construction. The condition of the remaining 33 towers is also weak. The GSS systems of electricity are not installed. There is a problem with backup. There is a separate problem of lift malfunction. The AOA informed that whatever decision will be taken in the office of the authority will be acceptable to us and Suraksha Ltd. will also have to accept it.
