Noida: Voices are being raised to stop IKEA company from encroaching and occupying the land of Bal Udyan, located in Noida Sector-51. Sector-51 RWA has written a letter to the CEO of Noida Authority Dr. Lokesh. They are complaining about the increasing encroachment. In the letter, Sanjeev Kumar, RWA General Secretary has requested the authority to immediately intervene and save this land.
The land of commercial plot number E-1 Sector 51 Noida has been given by the Noida Authority to IKEA company to build a mall. But IKEA company is also preparing to encroach on the green area of Sector 51.
The green area cannot be given to any company or to anyone.
The company has installed a gate towards Bal Udyan in Sector 51 and is trying to get construction work done in the green area by barricading it with green cloth. Doing this is against the rules because the green area of the sector cannot be given to any commercial company. Earlier also the RWA had requested against this and work was stopped. But for the last 2 days, people of IKEA company are continuously working on a war footing to grab the land of the Children’s Park.
