The programme was designed to help students understand emerging career opportunities and gain first-hand experience in professional work environments.

Students Receive Hands-On Training in Media

During the bootcamp, students were introduced to the fundamentals of journalism and radio broadcasting. They participated in practical sessions on news writing, radio programme production, studio operations, anchoring and audio recording, enabling them to experience the functioning of the media industry.

Students also visited the community radio studio, where they observed broadcasting operations and learned about various aspects of radio production.

The programme also showcased the academic offerings of the Information Technology and Management departments at IMS Noida.

Faculty members and industry experts briefed students on modern technologies, digital skills, leadership development, entrepreneurship and the evolving requirements of different industries. The interactive sessions allowed students to engage with experts and discuss diverse career options.

The bootcamp was coordinated by Isha Vyas, who guided students throughout the programme and highlighted the growing opportunities in media, information technology and management.

She emphasised the importance of practical learning and encouraged students to develop industry-relevant skills alongside academic knowledge to prepare for future careers.
