Noida: A Group of depressed homebuyers of Noida, whose registry is pending with the authority despite the recommendations of the Amitabh Kant Committee met Dr. Mahesh Sharma on December 15, 2024, at Kailash Hospital and submitted a memorandum.

Due to a lack of space, 60-70 representatives of 32 societies had a face-to-face meeting with Dr. Mahesh Sharma. Around 150 buyers had come to attend this meeting at the venue.

The buyers informed the MP that due to unnecessary changes in the report presented by the Amitabh Kant Committee and the Govt. In an order issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, the authority is expressing its inability to register without taking the outstanding amount of 25%.

The buyers demanded from the MP that he should present the issue of the registry and the complications stuck in it on the floor of the Parliament and pave the way for resolving this problem as soon as possible.

The buyers requested the MP to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and try to amend the Government Order of 23.12.23 so that the process of registration can be started and the order of registration can be cancelled in proportion to the builder’s outstanding amount and the amount deposited.

The sole demand of the buyers was that the houses in which people are already living should be registered unconditionally.

The buyers requested the MP to direct the Authority to issue a letter confirming the official fee to be levied on the registry so that the demand for illegal fees by the builder can be curbed.

The MP spoke to ACEO Vandana Tripathi in front of the buyers and directed them to hear the demand letter of the buyers’ representatives and insist on resolving the problems.

The MP assured a joint meeting in his presence with the officials of NA and the representatives of the buyers after December 24, 2024.
