Noida: The main representatives of 32 housing societies, whose registry is pending with the Noida Authority for some reason, held a meeting in the Central Park of Sector 77 at 11:00 a.m. to decide on the next course of action.

The meeting decided to hold a meeting with the CEO, NA, in the presence of Dr Mahesh Sharma so that in societies where houses have been sealed or partial leases of land have been cancelled, the registry process should be started as soon as possible in proportion to the valuation of the house/land.

It was decided to hold a Mahapanchayat of flat buyers of 120 housing societies on January 19, 2025. A demand should be made to the Uttar Pradesh government that it should amend its government order of December 21, 2023, containing the Amitabh Kant Committee report and not link the process of the registry to the builder’s outstanding amount in any way so that the registry of every buyer can be done without any conditions.

During the meeting, the MP was contacted on the phone and he called the representatives to meet him at the same time.

The MP assured that in the last week of December, in Indira Gandhi Auditorium, 6, 1-2 representatives of all 120 societies will meet the CEO in the presence of the MP and will find a solution to the problem of the registry process and illegal extortion by the builder under the points of the order of December 21, 2023.
