Greater Noida West witnessed a proud and celebratory moment as residents came together to honour Savita Rani for her outstanding achievement of securing Rank 62 in the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UP PCS 2024) examination.

The felicitation ceremony, held in Sector 3, Block A, was marked by joyous and traditional celebrations, including drums and community gatherings. Residents, senior citizens and prominent members of the sector assembled in large numbers to congratulate Savita Rani and celebrate her success.

Savita Rani, wife of Rajkumar and daughter of Veer Singh, has brought immense pride to the community with her accomplishment. The event saw the presence of several distinguished individuals, including Subhash Singh, Amit Kumar, Bharat Singh, Rajnarayan, Praveen Jha, Sunny Kasana, Kesh Ram, Ompal Singh, S. M. Prasad, Jaipal Singh, M. P. Singh, Ravindra Singh, Rahul Khatana, Ritesh Singh, Akram Chaudhary, K. V. Singh and Lalit Narayan.

Members of the RWA team, including Vice President Resham Singh, Mohan Sinha, Ravindra Singh and Vikash Singh Rathore, were also present. The RWA honoured Savita Rani with a memento, a gesture that was warmly appreciated by all attendees.

The ceremony witnessed active participation from women, children, and residents, making the event vibrant and inspiring. During the program, senior members of the sector appealed to Savita Rani to mentor young aspirants and guide them with the right strategy for competitive examinations, enabling more success stories to emerge from the community.

Educational and Professional Journey

Savita Rani completed her M.Sc. in Mathematics in 2011 and has been serving as a TGT (Science) with Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Delhi, since 2007. Her journey reflects persistence and dedication, having appeared for the PCS examination nine times and clearing it four times:

  • PCS 2017: Assistant District Prosecution Officer (ADPO)
  • PCS 2020: Naib Tehsildar
  • PCS 2022: Senior Lecturer (DIET)
  • PCS 2024: Rank 62 – Block Development Officer
