Greater Noida West: On the auspicious occasion of Ganga Dussehra, Spring Meadows Cricket Club arranged the distribution of more than 2000 litres of Sharbat.
Given the ongoing intense heat, the Spring Meadows Cricket Team decided not to play cricket today but distribute Sharbat so that the general public and passersby can be given relief from the heat by giving them cold milk mixed with Sharbat also popularly known as chabeel.
Vikash Katiyar, a resident of Spring Meadows says, “Sharbat distribution started at 7 am today and thousands of people were given Sharbat. Passersby and mainly the delivery boys praised the work of Sharbat distribution.”
Cricket team members Sandeep Gupta and Subir say, “We have been doing this work continuously for the last 3 years and we do this work by paying special attention to cleanliness. If God blesses, Sharbat distribution will continue in the future too.”
Vikash Katiyar also informs that the Vendors and the authowala came and said that we are thankful to you for this sharbat. This has helped us to regain the lost stamins. They filled there bottles too.
