Greater Noida West: Greater Noida West was termed as the hi-tech city of Uttar Pradesh. A city full of lights has been dark for many years, which is taking a toll on human life either by murders, accidents, thefts or anything for that matter. Greater Noida Authority had spent crores of rupees on installing various types of fancy lights and tricolour lights on the roundabout built on a 130-meter road. The purpose of these lights was to make the area beautiful and safe, but now all these lights have been out of order for a long time.
Dormant roundabouts, darkness prevails at night
Most of these lights installed by the Greater Noida Authority are not working now, due to which the residents of the area are facing high inconvenience. Despite complaints, no steps have been taken to repair these lights. Lights are out of order at major places like Khairpur roundabout, Saini roundabout and Rajesh Pilot Chowk, due to which darkness prevails at night. Due to the non-repair of these lights, not only the beauty of the area is getting affected, but safety is also in danger. Due to the malfunction of the lights, the possibility of accidents has also increased at these places.
No effect of public complaints
The tricolour lights which were installed on the street light poles are damaged. These lights not only enhanced the beauty of the area but were also a symbol of patriotism. There is an atmosphere of disappointment among the residents of the area due to their malfunctioning. Residents of the Greater Noida West Area have been demanding the repair of these lights for a long time, but their complaints are being ignored. These lights installed by spending crores of rupees are now getting ruined and this is directly affecting the public. A matter of actual concern.
