RG Residency: Grand celebration on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, children of the society remember the brave martyrs

Noida: Veer Bal Diwas was organized in RG Residency, Sector 120 in memory of the sacrifice and martyrdom of Shri Guru Govind Singh and his four brave Sahib Jado for the protection of the country and religion.

Chief guest Gurpreet Singh, Resident of C tower, RG Residency, Dr Meera Rawat and keynote speaker Dr Satish inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Presentation by the children of Tadpaschaat Society 25th December is the day to remember the sacrifice and glorious tradition of our great men. Between 21st December and 27th December, Shri Guru Gobind Singh and his entire family including his four brave sons sacrificed their lives for the protection of the country and religion.

25th December is also the birthday of Bharat Ratna Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya and Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On this occasion, the children expressed their views. On 25th December, while there was a Christmas celebration everywhere, small children in RG Residency expressed their views while remembering their glorious traditions.

Samarth Shivanshi and Samyak discussed the sacrifice of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur and his disciples to protect the Hindu society troubled by the atrocities of Aurangzeb. Gauri Ka Wa Anurag threw light on the great personality and deeds of Guru Gobind Singh. Jeev Jeevika and Vimarsh described the war skills of Ajit Singh and Jujhar Singh while fighting with the Mughals in the Chamkor war and how they attained martyrdom while killing thousands of Mughals.

Kumari Drishti gave a touching description of 9-year-old Zorawar Singh and 6 year old Fateh Singh being bricked alive in the wall of Sirhind Fort by Wazir Khan. Kumari Drishti moved the audience by singing patriotic songs like ‘Jahaan dal baal par sone ki chidiya karti hai aasra‘ and ‘Aye mere watan ke logon jara yaad karo qurbani’.

The speakers on the stage said that the identity of any nation is not determined by its wealth and comforts, but the identity of a nation is determined by the ideal life, best culture and public welfare traditions of the saints and great men of the country. They said that this country belongs to great men like Shri Ram Krishna, Mahatma Buddha, Mahavir Swami, Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji, Sarvasva Balidani Shri Guru Govind Singh Ji etc. who sacrificed themselves and their entire families to maintain the unity and integrity of the country.

They came to loot and rule this country which was rich in wealth and grains.

They accepted to die while protecting the country from the invaders but did not accept their subjugation. In this series of sacrifices, even the four young brave Sahibzaades of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji were not left behind. Baba Ajit Singh and Jujhar Singh attained martyrdom while fighting the Mughals in the Chamkor war and Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh were bricked alive in the wall of the Sirhind fort.

The speakers said that the Sikh Gurus were not only brave warriors but they were also saints, Mahatmas, spiritual gurus, philosophers, writers and social reformers. They did not discriminate based on caste, religion, sect and untouchability and gave the three-point mantra of Pangat Sangat and Kar Seva to awaken the feeling of peace, harmony and love in the entire human society so that leaving aside the discrimination of high and low, small and big, people can eat together, worship and protect and serve the country and religion.

The patriotic songs of Kumari Drishti Vaish and Mrs. Sudha Singh created an emotional atmosphere. The guests were welcomed with shawls and coconut and the children were honoured with incentive prizes. Finally, the programme was concluded with the song Vande Mataram.

The programme was successfully conducted by Lakshendra Pratap Singh and Munish Agarwal. RG Residency Chairman Pradeep Jaiswal, Secretary Ashok Bindlish, Deputy Treasurer Shiv Awasthi, Senior Member Rajni Agarwal, Ved Prakash Arora, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Suresh Agarwal, RC Set, Vivek Puri, Hrishikesh Bhave, Gaurav Bhatnagar, Nisha Bhave, Meenakshi Rajvanshi, Ragini RK Jain, Madhuri Sharma along with many eminent residents, women and children were present in the programme.
