Noida: A controversy has emerged regarding the upcoming elections at Gardenia Aims Glory, Sector 46, Noida, scheduled for May 18, 2025. Residents Prabha Gupta, Satish Mittal, Madan Jha, and Anurag Dwivedi have filed a complaint with District Magistrate (DM) Manish Verma, alleging that the election officer, Dr Ashish Maurya (District Fisheries Officer), is not allowing candidates or their representatives to be present during the vote counting process.

The complainants have also accused the District Fisheries Officer of demanding ₹3,000 from candidates. Taking the matter seriously, DM Manish Verma has instructed the City Magistrate to oversee the elections and ensure a free and fair voting process.
We have complained multiple times since April 17, 2025, to the Dupty Registrar of Societies Rishabh Agarwal and EO Mr Ashish Maurya have rejected my candidature without any written reason.

Police ensured a fair voting process
Earlier, some residents had met with senior Police officials in Noida, who ensured they maintained law and order during the elections and ensured a fair voting process.
