Greater Noida West: Greater Noida West has the highest number of cases of lifts getting damaged or stuck. Due to this, thousands of people have to face problems every day. A new case of lift getting stuck has come to light from Galaxy Royal Society. Where the lift stopped working late at night, causing a ruckus. A man brought his ailing mother home from the hospital and found that the lift was closed. He waited for a while, complained but even after this the lift could not run. In such a situation, the son was forced to climb the stairs carrying his cancer-stricken mother in his lap up to 14 floors.
Both lifts stopped and a ruckus ensued
Both the lifts of Tower A of Galaxy Royal Society in Greater Noida West got damaged. People created a ruckus due to the lift getting damaged. Normal people were somehow able to climb multi-storey buildings with great difficulty, but climbing 14 floors with an ailing mother in their arms was no less than fighting a war. Such a person could have invited problems for his own health. After this, the residents created a ruckus in the society till late at night. Seeing the ruckus, the police arrived and tried to calm the matter somehow. People also lodged a complaint in Kotwali Bisrakh for action against the builder. The residents said that the maintenance team had also shut down the second lift from 7 pm.
The threat of shutting off the water supply on complaint
Shrey Shankar, who lives in Galaxy Royal Society, has a 60-year-old mother suffering from cancer. He went to the hospital in the evening with his mother and returned to the flat from there at around 11 pm. He talked to the maintenance team when the lift broke down but no solution was found. In the end, he had no other option but to climb up with his ailing mother in his arms. Later, the police were called by dialling 112. The rest of the society also arrived and there was a ruckus in the society premises late at night. On complaining, the maintenance officials threatened to stop the supply from the generator and also to cut off the water supply.
