Ghaziabad: On Monday, February 03, 2025, Flat Owner Federation Ghaziabad held a meeting with Ghaziabad Development Authority’s Vice President Atul Vats in Ghaziabad Development Authority’s auditorium.

GDA will not take any action after the formation of associations in societies

In the meeting, Flat Owner Federation Ghaziabad’s Chairman Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi questioned GDA’s statement in which they have said that GDA will not take any action after the formation of association in societies. He said that if government institutions will also turn their back like this, then how is it possible to solve the problems of societies?

According to Section 48 of the UP Apartment Rules, every association has to become a member of the federation and follow its instructions. He asked the Vice President of GDA to recommend this as a competent officer. Colonel Tyagi said that more than half of the cases are of internal disputes in the societies. The Deputy Registrar is not aware of the ground reality, so on the complaint of any two or four people, he orders the accounts of the societies audited again, which increases the expenses and the burden falls on the flat owners.

Vikas Pradhikaran Vice President Atul Vats said that I do not have the right to collect fines and send them to jail. Work is going on at a fast pace at the state level on the amendment to the UP Apartment Act. In the meeting, issues like illegal rooms built in Gulmohar Enclave and illegal kitchen built in the play park, Mahagun Puram, Neel Padam, Crossing Republic, Rajnagar Extension, Indirapuram, C Block Govindpuram, encroachment of KR Mangalam School in Vaishali, demand for building a community hall, maintenance fee and encroachment issue in Crossing Republic etc. were raised.

GDA VC assured to pay attention to all the problems and hold a meeting with the Federation every month and also suggested that from now onwards, solutions should also be told along with the problems.

In the meeting, under the leadership of Veer Chakra recipient Colonel Tejendra Pal Tyagi, Prem Shankar Singh, I.C. Jindal, M.L. Verma, Gyan Singh, Vandana Joshi, Namita Bhalla, Sandhya Tyagi, Ganesh Dutt, Colonel Mukesh Tyagi, Chandan Singh, Manju Ghai, Pravesh Tyagi, Rajkumar Tyagi, Pramod Kumar, Kapil Kumar Tyagi, Tarun Chauhan, Abhay Kumar and Gaurav Bansal etc. participated from Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram, Vasundhara Mohan Nagar, Kavi Nagar and City Zone.
