Greater Noida West: A big fire broke out on the ninth floor of Cherry County, Greater Noida West. Due to the fire, the essential items kept on the balcony of the flat were burnt to ashes.
Case is of Tower A-1 of Cherry County in Greater Noida West
The fire case took place in Pawan Goyal’s flat who lives on rent in flat number 902 of Tower A-1 of Cherry County. Society resident Abhay Jain said that a washing machine was kept on the balcony and clothes were put on the railing for drying. Meanwhile, welding work was going on on the 10th floor just above his flat. The spark during welding fell on the washing machine, which caused a fire at around 4 pm in the evening.
Security officers and the maintenance team reached the spot
The fire took a terrible form in a few moments. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the security personnel of the society and the employees of the maintenance department reached the spot. But the flat was closed at that time, so the employees had to break the lock and enter inside. With the help of a fire extinguisher, the fire was completely controlled within a few minutes.
Fire was controlled before the tenders reached the spot
During this time, the fire department was also informed, but the fire was controlled before they could reach it. Fire brigade officials said that due to the flat being closed, the fire engulfed the items in the balcony, due to which most of the items were burnt to ashes.
