Greater Noida West: Despite the warning issued by the Health Department regarding waterlogging and dirt in Ajnara Homes Society located in Greater Noida West, mosquito breeding conditions persist. In the notice issued on April 8, 2025, the department had clearly instructed that waterlogging and mosquito breeding sites should be removed from the society premises within 7 days. Despite this, no concrete improvement has been seen even after the stipulated deadline has expired. Residents are angry as the water tank is also not cleaned.

Serious deficiencies were revealed during inspection

Dinkar Pandey, Resident, alleges that during the inspection conducted by the health department, it was found that a large amount of water is accumulated in the towers of the society. The cleanliness system of these places was found to be very poor, which strengthened the possibility of mosquito breeding.

Strict notice was issued

The department had warned that if the problem is not resolved within 7 days, the health department will take up the cleaning work itself and the entire cost will be recovered from Ajnara Homes management.

The current situation is worrying

The deadline has expired but there has been no significant improvement in the situation. Many parts of the complex are still filled with water and no effective steps have been taken for cleaning. Due to this situation, the risk of spreading serious mosquito-borne diseases like dengue, malaria and chikungunya is deepening.

Residents are angry

The residents of the society are very angry about this negligence. They say that due to the indifference of the management, their and their family’s health is in danger. Many residents have demanded immediate action from the concerned authority.

Health Department will get the cleaning done

The health department is now planning to get the cleaning done by itself by running a cleanliness campaign as per the rules. All the cost and service charges of this campaign will be recovered from the society management. Also, if necessary, fines and legal action can also be taken.
