Greater Noida West: To control the incidents of fire caused by firecrackers during the festival of Diwali, the maintenance team of Cherry County Society located in Greater Noida West has issued strict instructions for the residents. The instructions clearly state that if any kind of firecrackers cause fire during Diwali or if any accident or property damage occurs due to this, then the residents of the society themselves will be responsible for it. Also, a fine will be imposed in such cases.
Appeal to be cautious- ‘Safety first’
This step has been taken by the maintenance service of the society keeping safety in mind. Every year on the occasion of Diwali, incidents of fire and accidents due to firecrackers keep coming to the fore. This time the society administration has already appealed to be cautious to prevent fire.
Residents will be fined
The instructions state that there is a complete ban on bursting firecrackers in the society premises during Diwali. If any resident violates the rule, then he will have to bear the penalty for the related loss.
Fire safety equipment checked
The society’s maintenance team has also said that fire extinguishers are being checked and have been made readily available in every block. Residents have been requested to ensure that they are used properly. If any person or group burns firecrackers in violation of society’s rules and causes an accident, then a heavy fine will be imposed on the person concerned. They will also have to compensate for any property damage.
