BJP Seeking 400-plus LS Seats to Make Changes in Constitution: Sharad Pawar

Chief of the Nationalist Congress Party (SP), Sharad Pawar, stated on Sunday that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seeks to amend the Constitution by securing more than 400 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha election.

Speaking at a campaign event in Saswad tehsil, Pune, Pravin Pawar stated that this year’s general election will determine “by which method the country will work,” setting it apart from previous ones.

Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi chief minister, is imprisoned. The BJP is destroying democracy by taking the route of authoritarianism. Thus, we must vanquish them in order to save our country,” he declared.

“This Lok Sabha election is unique from previous ones because it will determine the framework that governs our nation. We are concerned but the country ought to be governed as a democracy. Pawar asserted, “They (BJP) want more than 400 seats to make changes in the Constitution.”

Pune’s Baramati Lok Sabha seat includes the Saswad tehsil. Supriya Sule, the daughter of Sharad Pawar and current MP, has been fielded by the NCP (SP) for the position. She will face off against Sunetra Pawar, the spouse of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

Everywhere I look, I see people blowing the turha sign. Cast your vote for Supriya Sule to win by a wide margin. We shall work toward the welfare and development of people,” declared the main opposition figure.
