Ghaziabad: A case of a Pitbull attacking an innocent girl child has come to limelight. In Bharat City Society Phase-II of Tila Mode in Ghaziabad, a two-and-a-half-year-old girl was bitten by a pitbull dog. The dog of the banned pitbull breed held the innocent child’s face for five seconds. During this, the girl was bitten badly. The girl’s face is badly injured. The pitbull dog has bitten the girl’s cheek and below the eye. The girl was admitted to the hospital. The girl is very scared. The police have registered a case on the complaint.
“We have lodged a complaint to the police. We live in G6 tower with our family. On Thursday night around 8.45 pm, I was going to flat number 1408 of G-One Tower for a housewarming ceremony at a friend’s place along with my wife and two daughters. We were waiting for the lift in G-One Tower. Meanwhile, both daughters Shatakshi and Sreeja started playing there.”

Shiv Kumar Mishra further explains that a young man was walking his dog without a leash. Uday, the dog owner and a tenant were roaming with his dog, without a leash.
Serious condition and hospital denies to admit
During this, the dog attacked daughter Sreeja and grabbed her face and there was blood all over her face. The girl was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital. There, treatment was refused. After this, the family members took her to Delhi’s GTB hospital. There, they refused to file a police report. After this, they took her to Loni’s government hospital. Where the girl’s medical report was made.
Whenever the daughter opens her eyes at night, she says, Papa, I have been bitten by a dog
“My daughter has not been able to sleep the whole night. Whenever she falls asleep, she would wake up. Whenever she opens her eyes, the daughter would say every time that Papa, I have been bitten by a dog. Save me from this.”
The father says that his daughter is very scared. After giving her an anti-rabies injection and other medicines, they brought the daughter home.
There was a protest 2 days ago too
2 days ago also a case of a dog biting a child came to light. During this time people protested against walking the dog in the common area. Even after this, he did not listen. He was walking the dog in the common area every day. People say that it has tried to bite many people before this too.
“It will be investigated whether the dog is a pitbull or not. If the dog does not have a license, then action will be taken for fine. Also, the dog will be confiscated.”
