
Greater Noida : The health department of the Greater Noida Authority carried out a larvicide spraying drive in Sector Beta-1 as part of its ongoing campaign to prevent mosquito breeding and control seasonal diseases.
According to officials and representatives of the Resident Welfare Association, larva-control medicine was sprayed across various areas of the sector to destroy mosquito eggs and stop the growth of larvae. The initiative aims to reduce the risk of mosquito-borne diseases during the summer and monsoon season.
RWA General Secretary of Beta-1 said that the spraying campaign is an important preventive step for maintaining cleanliness and public health in the sector. Residents have also been advised to ensure that stagnant water does not accumulate in and around their homes to support the anti-mosquito drive.
