The Shri Ramlila Committee Greater Noida held a meeting at Laxmi Timber in Site 4 to review preparations for Vijay Mahotsav 2026. The committee discussed the Ramlila programme scheduled from October 11 to 21, along with plans for food stalls and entertainment rides to make the fair more attractive for visitors.

A large portion of ceiling plaster suddenly fell inside a flat at Gaur City 1st Avenue in Greater Noida West on Friday morning, causing panic among the family members. The incident occurred while children were present inside the home, but fortunately, no one was injured. Residents have raised concerns over recurring plaster-fall incidents and questioned the safety and maintenance standards in the society.

A joint committee formed by the Noida Authority is expected to examine records related to the disputed 5% plots, while villagers also hope for progress on pending leaseback cases.
