Greater Noida West: The Amarnath Sharma-led team has secured a decisive victory in the ad hoc Apartment Owners Association (AOA) elections at Amrapali Golf Homes and Kingswood Society. The election results were announced late Thursday night, following which residents welcomed the newly elected team and extended their congratulations.

New AOA team announced

Amarnath Sharma has been elected as president, while Alok Singh has been elected vice president. Mayank Chaudhary will serve as secretary, Tushar Chauhan as joint secretary and Shikha Srivastava as treasurer. The newly elected executive members include Vinita Tayal, Vishnu Khanna, Vishwajeet Sharma, Alok Mukherjee and Shikha Dhyani.

The election outcome has generated enthusiasm among residents, with several members congratulating the new team and expressing hopes for improved management and resolution of long-pending issues in the society.

Amarnath Sharma calls victory a collective mandate

Addressing residents after the results, newly elected president Amarnath Sharma said the victory was not merely that of an individual or a team but represented the trust and collective expectations of the entire community. He said that although different candidates and groups had presented their respective ideas and priorities during the election, the focus must now shift towards working together in the larger interest of the society.

The new AOA, he said, would seek to combine experience, fresh ideas and collective participation while prioritising the development of the society and resolution of residents’ concerns.

Election committee appreciated

The newly elected team also expressed its gratitude to the election committee for conducting the election process successfully. Special appreciation was extended to Wing Commander S.K. Singh, Dr Jai Prakash Gupta and other members of the election committee for their time, efforts and cooperation in ensuring the smooth completion of the electoral process.

New secretary promises accountable governance

Newly elected secretary Mayank Chaudhary said residents have high expectations from the new AOA and expressed confidence that the team, under Amarnath Sharma’s leadership, would work by taking all residents along. He said the new team would focus on transparency, accountability and effective governance, while addressing issues concerning residents and working towards the overall development of Amrapali Golf Homes and Kingswood Society.

With the election process now concluded, the new AOA faces the task of translating its electoral mandate into concrete action and addressing key concerns of residents through a coordinated and participatory approach.
