Air India’s Maharaja Club members with Platinum or Gold status can enjoy these priority services for free, no matter their ticket class.

Air India has introduced ‘ZipAhead’, a paid service that offers priority check-in and baggage handling for Economy Class passengers on domestic flights.
With ‘ZipAhead’, passengers can check in at Premium Economy counters and get their bags handled with priority.
The service is available at six major Indian airports—Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. The fees are:
- Rs 499: If booked more than 6 hours before departure
- Rs 699: If booked within 6 hours of departure
‘ZipAhead’ can be purchased up to 75 minutes before departure through Air India’s website, mobile app, airport ticketing offices, or customer contact centre.
For members of Air India’s Maharaja Club loyalty programme (Platinum and Gold), priority services are free, regardless of their class or fare type.
