Greater Noida : 20 thousand people are yearning for water in these 2 societies of Greater Noida. The water supply has been stopped in Alpha-1 and Alpha-2 sectors of Greater Noida for the last 36 hours, due to which people are facing severe water shortage. The residents of these sectors are upset and despite repeated complaints, no concrete steps have been taken by the Authority.
Complaints do not affect the Authority
The residents say that despite the complaints, the Authority has sent only three water tankers, which have proved to be insufficient according to the water requirement of 20 thousand people.

Pipeline leakage and waterlogging on the road
Alpha-2 RWA President Subhash Bhati expressed displeasure over the negligence of the authority.
The problem of pipeline leakage often arises in the area, but the administration is not serious about it. Due to continuous water flowing from the pipeline, the road has been waterlogged, due to which pedestrians and drivers had to face a lot of problems. We demanded a quick solution from the authority officials and warned that if the water supply is not restored soon, then protests will be held.

The authority has claimed that the work of repairing the pipeline has been started, but due to high leakage, the repair is taking time. However, the local people rejected this claim and said that if the problem is not resolved in time, they will be forced to raise their voices against the administration on a large scale.
Residents requested the CEO
Residents have requested the CEO to get the pipeline repaired as soon as possible and restore the water supply. They say that Greater Noida is called a hi-tech city, but the condition of basic amenities is now getting worse than in any village.
