Noida: In an effort to strengthen police-public coordination and enhance safety measures across residential areas, ACP-3 Rajeev Kumar Gupta conducted a meeting with Resident Welfare Association (RWA) representatives within the Sector-142 police station jurisdiction. The meeting was held under the guidance of Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh and under the supervision of the Central Noida DCP and ADCP.
During the interaction, ACP Rajeev Kumar Gupta and the Station House Officer (SHO) of Sector-142 discussed key issues related to area security, women’s safety, prevention of cyber crimes and ways to further strengthen cooperation between the police and residents.
Police officials emphasised the importance of community participation in maintaining law and order. Residents were urged to ensure timely verification of tenants, domestic helpers and security personnel residing or working in their societies. Officials also appealed to citizens to immediately report any suspicious activities to the police to help prevent crime and ensure public safety.
The meeting provided an opportunity for RWA representatives to share their concerns, suggestions and local issues directly with police officials. Authorities assured participants that appropriate action would be taken on the matters raised and that necessary directions had been issued to the concerned departments for resolution.
Police officials stated that such regular interactions with RWAs play a crucial role in building trust between citizens and law enforcement agencies while creating a safer and more secure environment for residents across the city.
