Greater Noida: Continuous efforts are being made to save the people of Greater Noida from jams. The construction of a 5 km-long peripheral road around the Ayota Sector of Greater Noida has started. The total cost of this project will be around Rs 24 crore, and a target has been set to complete it in one and a half years. This road will play an important role in the development of the city.

The width of the road will be of two types

The width of this peripheral road will be of two types, one of 43 meters and the other of 60 meters width. About 1470 meters long highway will be 43 meters wide, while the 3490 meters long road will be 60 meters wide. This road will start from the Makoda underpass and connect to the already-built 60-meter-wide road.

Good for goods-carrying vehicles

The construction of the peripheral road will greatly ease the movement of goods-carrying vehicles. This road will be connected to a 130 meter wide road, which will allow traveling between Greater Noida and Greater Noida West without any problem. This will promote activities related to wholesale business.

Local trade will get a boost

The Greater Noida Authority has fixed 125 hectares of land for wholesale business and a regional institute near the International Container Depot Tilpata. This step will prove helpful in promoting local trade. The construction of the peripheral road will benefit thousands of people in Ayota Sector as well as villages like Pali, Makoda, Tilpata, Thapkheda etc.

The standard of living will be improved

Traffic will become easier through the road, which will also improve the standard of living of the residents. According to the Master Plan 2041, a railway overbridge (ROB) is also proposed to be built near Pali village in the area. After its construction, Dadri will also be connected to GT Road, which will improve traffic. With the construction of this overbridge, goods-carrying vehicles will not have to get stuck in traffic jams, which will save time.
