Noida: The Confederation of Noida Residents Welfare Associations (Conrwa) has urged the Noida Authority to undertake immediate repair and resurfacing of the roads in Sector 19 A-Block. In a letter dated October 30, 2026, Conrwa Noida Chapter informed Noida Authority General Manager S.P. Singh about the poor condition of the roads. The organisation said the roads in the area have not been properly repaired or resurfaced for the past 8-9 years, despite resurfacing generally being required at regular intervals.
Other sectors get work, Sector 19 A-Block allegedly ignored
In its letter, Conrwa said road resurfacing work has been carried out regularly in several other sectors of Noida, while the roads in Sector 19 A-Block have allegedly been neglected for years. The organisation said that if the work is being delayed due to the tender process or technical reasons, at least the stretches requiring urgent repairs should be repaired without further delay. Conrwa also stated that the issue had earlier been brought to the attention of Senior Manager Kapil Singh, but no concrete action has been taken so far.

Roads dug up for work but not properly restored
Conrwa also raised concerns over roads being dug up by various Authority departments for water supply and other works and not being properly restored after the work is completed. The organisation said several roads remain damaged even after utility-related work is finished. It also alleged that roads are damaged during building construction, but proper restoration is not carried out despite the matter being within the knowledge of the concerned supervisors and junior engineers. Conrwa said senior officials, JEs, supervisors and other concerned staff also use these roads and are aware of their deteriorating condition. Conrwa president Dr P.S. Jain and general secretary Rajiv Garg have urged the Noida Authority to take immediate cognisance of the matter, issue necessary directions to the officials concerned and ensure proper repair of the roads in Sector 19 A-Block.
