Greater Noida West : Rainfall and waterlogging at the Ramleela Ground in Ecotech-12 delayed the Ramleela Mahotsav 2026 programme on Monday. Organisers arranged for water drainage after the weather cleared in the afternoon, allowing the performances to begin after a delay.

Despite the weather-related disruption, thousands of devotees attended the event. The programme featured the Pushp Vatika episode, Mata Sita’s Swayamvar and the Lakshman-Parshuram dialogue from the Ramayana.

The performances depicted Lord Shri Ram’s appearance at the Swayamvar and the exchange between Lakshman and Parshuram, drawing reactions from the audience.

Members of Prabhu Shri Ram Leela Seva Trust and Ram Sevaks worked to manage the waterlogging and other arrangements at the venue. Their efforts enabled the programme to proceed despite the conditions caused by the rainfall.
