Dadri: Development work in Dadri received a boost with the inauguration of a cement concrete (CC) road and drain construction project in Ward 5 of Daulatram Colony. Dadri MLA Tejpal Singh Nagar inaugurated the project, which has a total estimated cost of ₹13.68 lakh.
A separate CC road construction project in Daulatram Colony under Ward 9 was also inaugurated during the programme. The projects are expected to improve road connectivity, facilitate smoother local movement and strengthen drainage facilities in the area.
Focus on basic civic infrastructure
Speaking on the occasion, Tejpal Singh Nagar said strengthening basic civic infrastructure remains a priority in the Dadri assembly constituency.
He said development works related to roads, drains, drainage systems and other essential facilities are being taken up to ensure that the benefits of infrastructure development reach different wards and localities.
Local representatives attend programme
Dadri Municipal Council chairperson Geeta Pandit and BJP city president Rajiv Singhal were among those present at the programme, along with public representatives and residents of the area.
Several others, including Bhim Singh, Pramod Bhati, Uday Singh, Manoj Kumar, Rajinder Singh, councillor Seema Singh, Kavita Devi, Piyush Garg, Ramniwas Bidhuri, Gyan Singh Rawal, Adesh Bhati and Bablu Gola, also attended the event.
Residents thanked the MLA and the municipal administration for the development works. They said the construction of the road and drainage infrastructure would help address longstanding local issues and improve everyday commuting and water drainage in the locality.
