Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Women’s Asia Cup 2026: Sri Lanka Women produced a fighting performance to defeat Pakistan Women by four wickets in the second semi-final of the Women’s Asia Cup 2026, booking their place in the tournament final against India.

The Pakistan vs Sri Lanka semi-final was played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 11, 2026. Pakistan posted 130/5 in 20 overs, while Sri Lanka successfully chased the target, reaching 134/6 in 18.4 overs

After Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu elected to bowl first, Pakistan faced early pressure from the Sri Lankan attack.

Pakistan captain Fatima Sana played a crucial innings, remaining unbeaten on 47 from 36 balls and helping her team reach a competitive 130/5.  However, Sri Lanka’s disciplined bowling prevented Pakistan from accelerating enough during the innings, leaving the defending champions with a manageable target of 131. 

Sri Lanka Survive Early Scare
The chase was far from straightforward.
Pakistan put Sri Lanka under significant pressure, with the defending champions at one stage reduced to 33/4. Fatima Sana followed up her batting performance with an outstanding bowling effort, finishing with four wickets. But Sri Lanka recovered.

Harshitha Samarawickrama played an important innings of 36 from 31 balls, helping stabilise the chase before Sri Lanka’s lower order completed the job. 
Sri Lanka eventually reached 134/6 in 18.4 overs, winning by four wickets with eight balls remaining.

The Pakistan captain scored an unbeaten 47 runs and then claimed four wickets, keeping Pakistan in contention deep into Sri Lanka’s chase. But Sri Lanka held their nerve to secure a place in the final.

The victory means Sri Lanka will face India in the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 final.
