Sharda Launchpad Federation Launches ICTTH, Signs Strategic MoU with i-FEVA to Boost Innovation Ecosystem

Greater Noida: Sharda Launchpad Federation, the business incubator of Sharda University, in collaboration with Vastav Intellect IP Solutions LLP (VIIPS) and the University’s IPR Cell, organised a National Symposium on “Transforming Innovations to Impact.” The event brought together policymakers, academicians, industry experts, startup founders, investors and innovation support organisations to discuss ways to accelerate technology transfer, intellectual property (IP) management and research commercialisation.

Innovation Commercialisation & Technology Transfer Hub (ICTTH) Launched

A key highlight of the symposium was the formal launch of the Innovation Commercialisation & Technology Transfer Hub (ICTTH) at Sharda Launchpad Federation.

The newly established hub aims to bridge the gap between academic research and industry by providing end-to-end support for technology assessment, IP strategy, valuation, licensing, commercialisation planning, startup creation and investment facilitation. The initiative is expected to help researchers and innovators transform promising technologies into commercially viable products and enterprises.

Experts Share Insights on Innovation and Commercialisation

The symposium featured addresses from several distinguished experts, including Dr. Amit Sehgal, Director of Sharda Launchpad Federation; Dr. Bhuvnesh Kumar, Dean Research, Sharda University; Mr. Avinash Kumar, Former Scientist ‘G’, DRDO; Dr. Love Sarin, Project Director, Bharat Innovates; Dr. Vinay Kumar Nangia, Distinguished Professor, IIT Roorkee; Dr. Mahavir Singh, Former Scientist ‘G’, CSIR; and Dr. Venkatesh Bharti, Founding Partner of Vastav Intellect IP Solutions LLP (VIIPS).

The speakers highlighted the importance of stronger industry-academia collaboration, effective intellectual property management and innovation-driven entrepreneurship in strengthening India’s research and startup ecosystem.

Strategic MoU Signed with i-FEVA Green Energy Foundation

Another major announcement during the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Sharda Launchpad Federation and the International Federation of Electric Vehicle Association (i-FEVA) Green Energy Foundation.

The partnership aims to promote startup incubation, technology commercialisation, innovation and entrepreneurship in the green mobility and clean energy sectors. The collaboration is expected to create opportunities for innovators, researchers, and startups working on sustainable technologies.

ImpactSathi Startup Unveiled

The symposium also witnessed the launch of ImpactSathi, a startup incubated at Sharda Launchpad Federation and founded by Ashish Kushwaha.

The platform is designed to strengthen collaboration among researchers, innovators, startups, industries, investors, and other stakeholders by facilitating partnerships and supporting innovation-led growth across sectors.

Strengthening India’s Innovation Ecosystem

The event concluded with a shared vision of accelerating research commercialisation and fostering entrepreneurship through stronger collaboration between academia and industry. With the launch of ICTTH, the strategic partnership with i-FEVA, and the introduction of ImpactSathi, Sharda Launchpad Federation has taken a significant step toward creating a more robust innovation ecosystem that supports technology-driven economic growth in India.
