Greater Noida: In a commendable public welfare initiative during the peak summer season, the water service campaign being run by the Active Citizen Team at Pari Chowk has successfully completed one month. The initiative, which began on April 26, has been providing drinking water to commuters and passersby amid rising temperatures and intense heatwave conditions.
With temperatures soaring and the ongoing “Nautapa” period bringing extreme heat across the region, the continuous availability of drinking water at one of Greater Noida’s busiest intersections has brought much-needed relief to thousands of daily commuters, drivers and pedestrians.
Members of the Active Citizen Team have been regularly managing the service and ensuring that clean drinking water remains available throughout the day. Residents and commuters have appreciated the effort, especially during the harsh summer conditions when dehydration and heat-related illnesses become a major concern.
In the middle of extreme summer heat and ongoing Nautapa conditions, a citizen-led initiative at Pari Chowk, Greater Noida has quietly completed one full month of uninterrupted water service for commuters and passersby.
