Noida: The first foundation day celebration of the ancient Sanatan Dharma Temple in Sector-117, after its renovation, was organised on Monday, May 25, 2026 with great devotion, enthusiasm and religious fervour. The temple premises witnessed a large gathering of devotees from the sector and nearby societies who participated wholeheartedly in various spiritual and cultural activities throughout the day.
The celebrations began early in the morning with Vedic chanting and special prayers. Religious rituals, including puja, havan and bhajan-kirtan, were conducted in the temple premises, creating a deeply devotional atmosphere. Residents arrived with their families to seek blessings and take part in the sacred ceremonies.
Senior citizens, women and youth from the area actively participated in the havan and other religious programmes, reflecting the community’s strong faith and cultural spirit. The temple complex remained filled with devotional songs and spiritual energy during the celebrations.
Following the religious rituals, a grand bhandara was organised for devotees. A large number of people received prasad and appreciated the arrangements made by the RWA Sector-117 for the smooth conduct of the event.
Several prominent personalities, social workers, and representatives of various organisations from the city also attended the programme and extended their greetings and best wishes to RWA Sector-117 and its residents.
Such religious and social gatherings help strengthen unity, brotherhood and cultural values in society.
