Noida: A fire safety drill session was successfully conducted at ATS Homekraft Nobility on Monday, May 25, 2026 with enthusiastic participation from a large number of residents. The session aimed to educate residents about fire prevention, emergency response procedures, and the proper use of firefighting equipment in high-rise residential societies. Residents were given practical demonstrations on how to operate fire extinguishers and respond during emergency situations. The training also focused on evacuation procedures, emergency exits, and methods to handle panic during critical incidents.
Rising summer fire incidents raise concern
The initiative comes amid growing concerns over the increasing number of fire incidents being reported in high-rise buildings during the extreme summer season. Experts have repeatedly warned that excessive heat, electrical overloads and negligence in safety practices can significantly increase the risk of fire accidents in residential complexes. Keeping these risks in mind, the awareness session was organised to ensure that residents remain alert and prepared to deal with emergency situations effectively.

During the session, participants were informed about the importance of staying calm during emergencies and following safety protocols without panic. Residents also learned basic fire safety measures, emergency handling techniques and the significance of immediate response during the initial stages of a fire incident.
