Greater Noida : In view of the continuously rising temperatures across the NCR region, the Active Citizens Team organised a water distribution service at Pari Chowk in Greater Noida on Sunday, May 18, 2026. The initiative aimed to provide relief to commuters, drivers and pedestrians travelling through one of the city’s busiest intersections.
Under the campaign themed around the message “Jal Hi Jeevan Hai” (Water is Life), volunteers distributed drinking water to passersby facing discomfort due to the scorching heat. The team members said the service would continue regularly during the summer season to help people cope with extreme weather conditions.

Members of the organisation appealed to capable residents and social groups in the city to come forward and participate in such humanitarian efforts. They said even small contributions towards public welfare can make a significant difference during harsh summers.
Water is the most essential need during extreme heat. Through this initiative, we are trying to ensure that no traveller suffers due to dehydration while passing through Pari Chowk.
