RWA holds GBM in sector 82, Key financial and administrative decisions are approved

Noida : A General Body Meeting (GBM) was successfully conducted by the Residents Welfare Association (RWA) at Udyog Vihar Society in Sector 82 on March 1, 2026. The meeting focused on financial transparency, administrative decisions and community welfare measures.

Financial report approved by members

During the meeting, the income and expenditure statement for the period from June 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, was presented before the residents. The report was unanimously approved through a voice vote by members present at the gathering.

Office bearers present detailed updates

The meeting was chaired by RWA President Mayank Chauhan in the presence of General Secretary Ranjan Kumar. Treasurer Pankaj Tripathi presented a detailed account of development works carried out in the society along with financial records.

Vice President Ranjeet Mishra urged residents to maintain cleanliness, safety and discipline within the society. Members Uma Rani and Ranjana Devi also appealed to residents to uphold harmony and mutual respect.

Key proposals passed unanimously

Several important resolutions were discussed and approved during the GBM:

Salary hike for security guards
Members noted that the salaries of security guards had not been revised for a long time. After discussion, the proposal to increase their wages was approved.

Resolution against former office bearers
The issue of former office bearers approaching the court and raising questions over the election process was also discussed. Members expressed that such actions were against the dignity of society.

Residents also showed displeasure over the alleged failure of former office bearers to present financial records after losing the election. It was unanimously decided that in future RWA elections, Sushil Sharma, K.K. Raina and Atul Yadav should be barred from contesting.

Large participation from residents

A significant number of residents attended the meeting, which concluded in a cordial atmosphere.
