RWA Beta 1 Holds Monthly Review Meeting, Flags Sanitation Gaps and Illegal PG Concerns in Greater Noida

Greater Noida : The Residents’ Welfare Association of Beta 1, Greater Noida, convened its monthly review meeting on February 24, 2026, at the sector’s Community Centre. The meeting was chaired by RWA President Sangeeta Sharma and conducted by General Secretary Harendra Bhati. The session focused on civic management issues, upcoming community events and law and order concerns within the sector.

Sanitation issues take centre stage

A major point of discussion was the deteriorating sanitation conditions in the sector. Members raised concerns that cleaning work has not been carried out properly over the past few days, leading to visible hygiene issues in certain pockets of the locality. The RWA resolved to take up the matter with the concerned authority to ensure regular sweeping, garbage lifting and maintenance of public spaces.

Holi Milan Samaroh on March 1

The association also announced that a Holi Milan Samaroh will be organised in the sector on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 12 noon onwards. Residents will celebrate with chandan and flower-based Holi, promoting a traditional and eco-friendly celebration. The proposal to organise the community event received formal approval during the meeting.

Action against illegal pgs and public misconduct

The RWA discussed complaints regarding illegally operating PG guest houses in the sector. According to members, some students residing in these PG accommodations have allegedly been consuming alcohol openly in parks and engaging in objectionable behaviour on roads. The association decided to submit a formal letter to the Greater Noida Authority seeking strict action against unauthorised PG operations and enforcement against public nuisance.

Demand for community centre handover

Another key resolution was regarding the operation and maintenance of the Beta 1 Community Centre. The RWA resolved to write to the authority requesting that the management and upkeep of the centre be officially handed over to the association to ensure better supervision and maintenance.

Voter list update and new membership cards

The meeting also addressed organisational matters. The RWA voter list has been updated and it was decided that new membership cards will be issued to all RWA Beta 1 members.
