Noida: A major revelation has emerged in the death of engineer Yuvraj in Noida’s Sector-150. The postmortem report has confirmed that Yuvraj died due to suffocation caused by drowning, followed by a heart attack triggered by extreme stress and cold conditions.
According to the Knowledge Park police station, the postmortem report states that nearly 200 millilitres of water were found in Yuvraj’s lungs. This clearly indicates that he remained submerged in water for a considerable period, during which his condition deteriorated due to the inability to breathe.
Sources revealed that after falling into the water-filled pit, Yuvraj had shouted for help. However, due to the isolated location and the absence of timely assistance, he could not be rescued. Medical experts have opined that prolonged immersion in cold water, coupled with intense stress, panic and fear, led to a heart attack, which ultimately caused his death.
The pit where Yuvraj drowned is located in an area that generally remains deserted. Since the incident, a large number of people have been gathering at the spot. For the past three days, local residents and society members have been visiting the site, raising serious questions over systemic negligence. They allege that adequate safety measures were not in place and that timely intervention could have saved Yuvraj’s life.
The incident has triggered widespread anger and resentment in the area. Society residents and local citizens have openly accused the authorities and project management of negligence while speaking to the media. They have demanded strict action against those responsible, stating that accountability is essential to prevent such tragic incidents in the future and to ensure that no other life is lost due to administrative lapses.
