Noida: On January 26, 2025, as reported by the victim, more than 300 people mob lynched the dog lover attempting to murder her. She says, “The horrific scene last night outside Jaypee Kosmos Society, Sector 134, an uncontrollable mob surrounded a feeding van, baying for blood. The police sided with the mob and took the victims into custody“
‘Mob tried to kill me’
“Crowd of a 300 people mob lynched and filed FIR against me. The hostile mob attacked me even when I was feeding at the designated place. People were raising voices like ‘apne buchhe buchaiye.,’ The police were supporting them, the FIR is baseless.”

‘We were attacked and mob lynched’
Jayanti, a resident of Jaypee Kosmos informed Apartment Times of the nerve-wracking incident which took place on January 26, 2025. She says, “Tamanna feeds stray dogs outside the society and the residents have been harbouring hatred against her for very long. There is a journalist of a big media group the main ring leader who instigated the big mob who molested Tamana who is a resident of Kosmos. She is arrested with the other members. She has been sent to jail.“
Jayanti informed us that the mob tried to attack her just because she was feeding the dogs
She says, “The girl was molested by the mob and later the mob tried to kill us just because she was feeding innocent dogs. She was following the rules and as per rules she was feeding outside the society at a designated place by the AOA.”
‘This is not justice, this is a joke’
Ambika Shukla, PFA, who is in active support of Tamanna says, ” It is astonishing that this young girl was molested by the crowd, rather than taking her complaint and getting a medical check-up, Police put her in lock up. This is not justice, this is a joke.”
‘Mob lynch on the instructions of the media person’
Jayanti, a member of the Penodo Foundation and resident of Kosoms informs Apartment Times, “The whole scene including the attack by the mob and all actions are taken under the direction of one influential media person. He asked the mob to attack the dog lovers.”
She says, “That media personnel is connected with home ministry and he is a senior editor with the National channel. This person and his followers are dog haters, and they generalise and mob attack. This guy concocts stories against us that we are making money out of this noble cause.”
‘Police also supporting the wrongdoers’
Jayanti has accused the Police by saying that they are supporting the wrongdoers. “Tamanna was attacked, her mobile phones were confiscated and now she is in jail, just because she is breeding dogs inside the house,” says Jayanti.
Demands of Dog feeders –
- Closure of fake FIR against Tamanna
- The case against the people who attacked and molested Tamanna are asking for
- immediate release of three men who work with us.
- Police have impounded our two vehicles, release them too,
- such action should not be repeated with any other feeder ever in future.
This is not the first time
Earlier, in this society, a rage took place due to the stray dogs. A stray dog tried to bite a kid and following a quarrel took place. Same Tamanna Singh Grover, a Dog lover was feeding the stray dogs in the society, one among the pack of dogs ran towards the school-going kid. As the dog attacked, Jaya, the mother of the kid tried to save her child with the help of a stick. In the end, Tamanna took the stick from Jaya and Tamana beat that lady.
Dog feeders use two vehicles as ambulance for dog transportation
Police have confiscated two vehicles which were used for taking dogs in and outside the society. Residents have expressed anger that what is the use of having security in society then? Who knows who comes inside in that private ambulance? With the free movement of ambulance anyone can trespass in the society.
Police complaints against her
After this incident, residents united and filed complaints with the Police, anonymous resident informs us. “These types of incidents are already out of control and then the gang of Tamanna is feeding anywhere in society. Multiple times we asked her to stop this, but she is so outrageous that she challenges us and never stops.”
Residents of Kosmos are demanding stringent actions against Tamanna
On January 23, 2025, Residents of Jaypee Kosmos, filed a complaint against Tamanna. A written complaint was filed in the Sector 137 expressway police station stating that the NGO is in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, but they are also operating it from the flat. Residents showed disagreement many times, but she never stopped unlawful practices. Residents complained that everyday non-veg is cooked in the flat for 15-20 dogs, and is thrown everywhere in society. This is not only unhygienic but also against the law.
Multiple warnings from Police and Administration
Residents informed Apartment Times that last year they were warned by the AOA and the police. But these dog feeders never stopped they kept feeding dogs inside the society and under the tower. They never stopped and kept spreading their anarchy in society.
When he tried to stop her supporters started beating him, also those who accompanied her pushed him and abused him. They also warned them to shoot them and will feed them inside the premises at all costs. We will see you, they said

‘Ambulance stopped for security reasons, not a mob lynch‘
When Apartment Times enquired about the mob lynch and the crowd of 300 people, residents informed that it was Sunday’s weekly market and the crowd was on the road for the street shopping. “We were already in doubt about the activities of Tamanna and other members, so when we saw the vehicle seeking entry, it stopped by the security staff and was not allowed to go inside. This was a protest to save the children rather than a mob lynch.” says residents of Jaypee Kosmos.
Fined by Noida Authority
On further investigation, we found out that Tamana Grover, resident of JP Kosmos society, Tower KM3, and Member of Penodo Foundation, was fined by the Noida Authority, as she is breeding inside the residential housing society which is not allowed. As per the dog policy released on December 12, 2022, it was stated that if anyone runs a breeding centre for dogs inside the flat which is banned, will be punished by the Noida Authority.
‘No Mob lynch‘
We contacted Sanjay Malik, Police, Sector 137 Expressway he says, “It’s a lie. Everything is a rumour.”
Tamanna Grover feeds stray dogs everywhere in society, not in the designated place. Residents of society says, by her ways, she disturbs the peace and harmony of society by feeding the dogs all over the society. Tammana is adamant and says that I will feed inside only. Residents are against it because those dogs attack the residents including kids. Rest all allegations made by Tamana about mob lynch are false.”
