Residents of La Residentia, Greater Noida West have announced a one-day agitation. Sumit Jalota, resident, says, “The condition of the housing society is bad at this time. There is no one to split silence in the name of basic facilities and there is no one to look after it. The water problem persists for many days. The electricity problem starts as soon as the summer season arrives. The builder does not pay attention to any problem. The maintenance department team ignores our demands. The problem with lift is very high, in such a situation, residents are forced to protest.”

There are hundreds of housing societies in Greater Noida West. Many builders have built their projects there. Lakhs of people live in them, but there is nothing in the name of basic facilities. There are many housing societies where people are living in their own houses like tenants despite paying lakhs and crores of rupees. People’s houses have not been registered.
