With only a single lift operational in the high-rise building, families, senior citizens and children are being forced to either wait for long hours or climb multiple floors using the staircase.

According to residents, the lift has been non-functional for several days, creating daily hardship for dozens of families living in the tower. Morning office hours and school timings have become particularly chaotic, with long queues forming in the lobby.

It takes 20 to 30 minutes just to get the lift during peak hours. Sometimes we miss the office or school because of this delay. Climbing 14 floors is not practical every day.

What if there is a medical emergency or fire? Depending on a single lift in a high-rise building is extremely risky. The builder and maintenance agency must treat this as urgent.

• A few months ago, residents of Amrapali Dream Valley also highlighted delays in lift repairs, especially affecting upper floors.
