United Spirits Q1 results: Net profit increases 1.7% to Rs 485 crore | Company Results

United Spirits Ltd. said on Tuesday that its consolidated net profit for the June quarter increased by 1.7% to Rs 485 crore.


In the same period last year, United Spirits Ltd (USL) reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 477 crore in a regulatory filing.


It further stated that in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, consolidated revenue from operations was Rs 6,238 crore, compared to Rs 5,808 crore in the same period last year.


Compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year, when total expenses were Rs 5,173 crore, the first quarter’s expenses were higher at Rs 5,619 crore.


According to USL CEO and Managing Director Hina Nagarajan, the business started FY25 with a stable first quarter performance.


“Our renovation and innovation offerings are rolling out progressively with an encouraging response,” she stated.


“We remain focused on enhancing the long-term competitiveness of our portfolio, as well as on delivering sustainably in an environment of soft demand and seizing every opportunity to create long-term value for all of our stakeholders,” Nagarajan stated in reference to the future.
