Greater Noida’s prominent Pari Chowk area is witnessing increasing neglect, as several plants and trees in decorative pots have reportedly dried up due to a lack of regular watering. Along with the dying greenery, garbage scattered around the area has further worsened the condition, raising concerns among commuters and residents.
Pari Chowk is considered one of the busiest and most important intersections of Greater Noida, connecting key institutional, residential and commercial sectors. However, despite its importance, many potted plants near roadsides and public spaces are now seen completely dry and damaged.
Garbage and poor maintenance are creating a negative impression
Garbage accumulation near the green belts and roadside areas is creating an unpleasant environment. People passing through the area believe that poor maintenance is affecting the city’s image, especially as thousands of daily commuters, students and visitors use the route.

Several residents have demanded immediate cleaning drives and proper upkeep of the greenery.
Regular watering arrangements and monitoring are necessary to maintain the city’s beautification efforts.

Demand for immediate action by the Greater Noida Authority
Residents have urged the concerned officials of the Greater Noida Authority to take cognisance of the issue and ensure timely maintenance of plants, cleanliness of the surrounding areas and proper monitoring by the horticulture and sanitation departments.
We believe that quick intervention can help restore the greenery around Pari Chowk and improve the overall appearance of one of Greater Noida’s most recognised locations.
