Greater Noida West is set to witness a major infrastructure upgrade with the proposed construction of Uttar Pradesh's first double-decker elevated road. The Greater Noida Authority will place the project before its upcoming board meeting. Once approved, the project is expected to provide signal-free connectivity from 130-Metre Road to NH-9, significantly reducing traffic congestion in Crossing Republic and surrounding areas.
In a first-of-its-kind initiative in Greater Noida West, Ajnara Olive County has started using RO waste water for groundwater recharge instead of letting it go down the drain. The project is helping recharge around 64,000 litres of water every day and is expected to conserve nearly 2.3 crore litres annually.
