Greater Noida West: A tragic incident at Supertech Eco Village-3 has raised serious safety concerns after a two-year-old girl was severely injured while playing in the society’s children’s park. The child, Amansa Sharma, reportedly lost a toe after getting caught in a damaged section of a slide that had been left unrepaired for weeks.
According to her father, Amar Sharma, the incident took place on the evening of June 13. Amansa was playing barefoot on the slide when her foot got trapped in an exposed, jagged edge at the bottom of the structure. The sharp metal cut through her toe, leading to a horrifying injury that left the child screaming in pain.
Family members rushed her to the hospital, where doctors performed surgery to treat the wound. Though her condition is now stable, she remains unable to walk and is emotionally shaken.
Negligence Alleged by Residents
Residents have come forward, accusing the society’s maintenance department of ignoring repeated complaints about the broken equipment.
That slide had been broken for a long time. We raised the issue multiple times, but no action was taken.

Parents Urged to Keep Children Away from Play Area
