New Delhi : The MATECIA Exhibition and THE WADE ASIA Architecture and Design Event, held from 22nd to 25th August 2024, Yashobhoomi, Dwarka. It has concluded with resounding success. This prestigious event, brought together leading names from the architecture, design, and trade industries, witnessed staggering footfall and an overwhelming response from participants and visitors alike.
MATECIA Exhibition, hosted over 300 exhibitors across a sprawling 3 lakh square feet area, showcasing the latest innovations in interior surfaces, furniture, hardware, and more. The exhibition attracted over 45,000 visitors, including architects, designers, dealers, and distributors from across 500+ cities and towns in India, as well as from 20+ countries worldwide.

The concurrent events, India Furniture Conclave and India Interior Retailing, also garnered a great response, featuring promising entrepreneurs, furniture makers, OEMs, brands, and industry experts. THE WADE ASIA 2024, renowned for being India’s premier platform celebrating women in architecture and design, was marked by its impactful 2-day conference. This event featured relevant topics, knowledge sessions, discussions, and keynote presentations by leading figures in the industry.
The highlight of THE WADE ASIA was the culmination of THE WADE AWARDS on 24th August, with the grand ceremony attended by esteemed guests including the Chief Guest, the RERA Chief, and actor Milind Soman. Also in attendance was a celebrated Gujarati actress and architect from Baroda. The event saw Ar. Parul Zaveri of Abhikram being honored with THE WADE ASIA Lifetime Achievement Award 2024, recognizing her exceptional contributions to architecture and design. Dr. Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi from NAREDCO Mahi was awarded the prestigious Woman in Real Estate Award 2024, acknowledging her leadership and influence in the real estate sector. Ar. Abha Narain Lambah received THE WADE ASIA Sustainability Champion of the Year award for her remarkable efforts in promoting sustainable architecture.
The competition categories at THE WADE AWARDS were diverse, covering Residential Architecture, Commercial Architecture and Interior Design, Retail, Best Use of Lighting, Best Use of Colour etc.
