Sex racket being run from spa busted in Noida, two women rescued, two arrested

Two women who were allegedly forced into prostitution at a spa center in Baraula village of Noida were rescued by the Noida police on Monday night during a late-night raid. Two men who were allegedly present at the center at the time of the raid were also taken into custody, senior cops said on Tuesday.

Sector 49 in Noida Two ladies were rescued by police late on Monday night from a spa that was being run out of a building in the Noida town of Baraula.

According to Manish Mishra, additional deputy commissioner of police in Noida, the raid was carried out at the location by a combined team from the Sector 49 police station and the anti-human trafficking unit (AHTU) in response to certain intelligence inputs.

According to him, the police found numerous contraceptive devices, 26 visiting cards, ₹9,780 in cash, and two cell phones.

During the operation, Soumya Singh, the assistant commissioner of police (women safety), said that the ladies who were saved from the center were now back with their families.

“The women told us that guys who pretended to be employment agencies coerced them into prostitution. Their families have been reunited with them,” Singh said.
