Noida: Residents of Sector 51, Noida, have been invited to participate in a large-scale tree plantation drive scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Children’s Park, Sector 51. The initiative aims to promote environmental conservation and encourage community participation in creating a greener and healthier city.
The campaign will be held under the message, “The Earth Has Just One Appeal—Plant More Trees.”
School Students to Participate
Students from Ryan International School, Sector 39, Noida, will join residents and volunteers in planting a variety of fruit-bearing trees during the event. Organisers believe that involving children in environmental activities will help instil a sense of responsibility toward nature from an early age.
Authorities and Civic Bodies Invited
The organisers have extended invitations to residents, media representatives, the DD RWA Federation, Gautam Buddh Nagar, officials from the Noida Authority’s Horticulture, Civil, Mechanical, Water & Sewer and Health Departments, as well as officers from the Police Department to participate in the plantation drive and support the city’s green initiatives.
A Call to Protect the Environment
The organisers have appealed to citizens to attend the event on time and contribute to making Noida greener. Emphasising the importance of environmental conservation, they said that planting trees today is essential to ensuring a healthier and more sustainable future for coming generations.
The drive also seeks to spread awareness about the importance of increasing green cover, improving air quality, and encouraging collective action toward environmental protection.
The invitation has been issued by Sanjeev Kumar, General Secretary of Sector 51 RWA and Senior Vice President of the DD RWA Federation, Gautam Buddh Nagar, who urged residents to actively participate in the campaign and help make the city cleaner, greener and more environmentally sustainable.
