Noida: Residents of Sector 51 have expressed both gratitude and concern regarding the cleanliness of the Children’s Park in their locality. While thanking Noida Authority and Horticulture Director Anand Mohan for initiating immediate cleaning work in the park, residents are urging the authorities to ensure that the cleanliness drive is carried out on a regular basis.

According to Sanjeev Kumar, General Secretary of Sector 51, the current practice of cleaning the park and its four toilets only once a week is highly inadequate. The poor condition of the toilets, marked by dirt and foul smell, has made them practically unusable for visitors.

Residents of Sector 51 highlight poor sanitation at Children’s Park, demanding regular upkeep from the horticulture department.

Residents have emphasized that it is the responsibility of the horticulture department’s contractor to maintain both the park and its sanitation facilities on a daily basis. They have requested the authority to issue strict instructions to the contractor to ensure consistent cleanliness.

Residents say that while the park remains an important recreational space for children and families, unhygienic conditions are discouraging visitors. The demand is now for a sustained and monitored cleaning routine to maintain the park’s usability and public health standards.
