Samridhhi Grand Avenue : Tired of dirty water falling on car, Resident parks at main gate to protest poor maintenance

Greater Noida West: In the Samridhhi Grand Avenue Society, managed by JLL, a resident named Girish Chandra Shukla was forced to take an unusual step after receiving no help from the maintenance team.

For many days, dirty water and sewage were leaking from a pipe right above his parking spot. Things got worse four days ago when the sewer pipe burst,and sludge started falling directly onto his car.

Girish Shukla complained many times, both by speaking to the maintenance staff and by raising tickets on the MyGate app, but nothing was done. Instead, the app indicated that the complaints were “closed” without any actual action taken.

Tired and frustrated, Shukla parked his car near the main gate, next to the fountain. He made sure that his car did not block any emergency services like ambulances or fire trucks. He said this was not a protest but a peaceful way to get attention from the society’s management.

I waited and gave them enough chances. But when no one listens, and they even lock my car’s wheel instead of fixing the problem — what else can I do?”

Other residents who are also facing similar issues came out in support of Girish Shukla. They believe the problem is not just his — it’s about how the entire society is being managed.

I will keep my car at the main gate untill the parking spot is fixed. I said sorry to the society members for any trouble caused and requested the management to show more responsibility and care.
